Join us at Cockayne Farmstead to celebrate the birthday of West Virginia with some old-fashioned, farm-themed fun!
Come pet and play with friendly farm animals at a petting zoo and take a ride around the neighborhood in a horse-drawn surrey, complete with fringe!
There will be numerous activities and contests for children and adults alike. Try your hand at doing laundry the old-fashioned way or take a shot at a game of marbles or jacks!
Admission and participation in all activities will be free. Food will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Ash Avenue Church of God. Cups of animal feed will also be for sale in the petting zoo.
Schedule for the event will be as follows:
10-noon - Petting Zoo
11-1 - Surrey Rides
11-3 - activities and contests
House tours of the Farmstead will also be offered every half-hour throughout the day.
